Well, I asked you all to come back today and I'm sure most of you had probably guessed at why - it's time to unveil Cyberscore 4!

A full list of the new features will be released shortly but I am still taking requests so if anyone has any.........

In the meantime, here are some screenshots.

High resolution video preview (Flash, 100mb): http://www.cyberscore.net/cs4/
Lower resolution video preview (WMV, 21mb): http://www.cyberscore.net/cs4/cs4.wmv

Comments are, of course, welcome. :)

Right, video should up in about 45 minutes - it's a biggie though, a 100mb Flash-driven preview!

Looking good :D

I have a few questions/comments about the chart page.

- To me the text underneath the name of the person looks a litte strange if "CSP : " is on one line, and the actual points is on the second line. Perhaps you could put the vehicle/character on the top line, and CSP + Date on the second?

- For those 4 little buttons under the score, do they replace the clicking on the user's name and clicking on the score itself? They do look handy but it also looks a little crowded.

- Does the rank button in the bottom right show your rank, or will it show N/A for everyone?

- That button with 2 arrows next to the words "Top 10" in the dropdown box, what's that for?

- What does the More tab do?

Eep, that looks pretty ad-heavy. Looks neat though...

That'll all show on one line if your screen is wide enough, although I'm still tidying that bit up.

They do, yep - you can still click on the user's name to go to the history but I thought having icons as well would make it a little more obvious that you had the options.

- Does the rank button in the bottom right show your rank, or will it show N/A for everyone?

It's a live button so it will show your rank - I just happen to be a bit under-submitted on Mario Kart :)

- That button with 2 arrows next to the words "Top 10" in the dropdown box, what's that for?

If you have JavaScript, the chart will reload when you select a new option in the dropdown (better demonstrated in the video) - if you don't you'll need to click that icon to refresh the form.

- What does the More tab do?

The charts on CS3 have a dropdown list of other charts for this game underneath the chart - they are moving to the "More" tab on 4.

Eep, that looks pretty ad-heavy. Looks neat though...

Those ads aren't final - at launch it'll be Google Adwords at the top, Project Wonderful top right and a rotation on the right. But yes, there's a few more on 4 as I've been able to properly integrate them into the layout. Hopefully 1 million+ impressions a month, per ad(!) will help pay the bills and donations may become unneccessary.

Um... is there any chance you could torrent the video? or transfer it via xfire? My connection isn't really stable enough to last 100MB through a normal download

It's a Flash preview if that makes any difference - could leave it buffering while you go do something else (it's a 12 minute video!)

Am trying to make a lower-res version as well.

Full quality video preview is up, link in the first post. Am working on making some other lower resolution formats and will hopefully have these up shortly if my PC doesn't burn to the ground!

From the pictures it does look good
The only dislike I have about it is the icons under the records as well, maybe just because I used to seeing Record Approved under it and I always thought it looked cool
Well time to check out the video
Nice work

Just to answer a quick question I was asked - the records and games will still be there for Cyberscore 4. The changes will be looks and features and things.
