Note: This is the current version of the rules for creating a Dodgy Record topic through the Dodgy Records Board.
Board: http://www.cyberscoreforums.com/index.php/board,22.0.html
Topic for Comment/Discussion: http://www.cyberscoreforums.com/index.php/topic,3450.0.html

Recently there have been a lot of topics created on this board, and the reason why it is so difficult for the mods to deal with them is because a lot of them are unnecessary. Before making a topic, please read this.

When to use this board

1. If you see that a player has entered some absolutely ridiculous scores such as 99999999 or something. Please name your topic "<their username> - Urgent Delete". In this case there is no need for you to report the records on the main site.

2. If you see someone that seems completely suspicious. eg. Has submitted multiple times with invalid digits across many games, broken a lot of heavily played WRs... etc. Please name your topic "<their username> - Dodgy User". You should make sure you have reported a wide selection of the most dodgy of the records on the main site. It might also be useful to mention which ones you have reported, so we can see if they have changed the scores.

When to not use this board

- If you see a single score with impossible digits/ an obvious typo from an otherwise ok user. The chances are this is just an honest mistake. You might just want to drop the user a PM and ask them to double check their time. If they seem inactive or don't reply then report it on the main site. Keep an eye on it if you want, but it will be sorted out in the usual way.

- If you don't believe a user capable of getting certain scores. Report just a few of the most difficult to achieve, and then see what happens. If they start changing their scores, or not being able to prove any of them, then consider option 2 above.

- You want one of your records removed. You can't. There is no "delete record" button for a reason.

- You have made a mistake and want someone to delete the mistake. PM a moderator.

Remeber that in almost all cases, apart from except option 1 perhaps, a user will have a minimum of 7 days to prove their score. Until then all we can do is wait.
If you do your best to follow the guidelines above then we will be able to sort people out much more quickly.
